Hey Parkside,
A little glimpse into Sunday service. Justin will be talking about the burning bush in Exodus 3. As I was reading this passage, I realized Moses found himself in a place of option. He sees the bush burning without being consumed, something supernatural. But Moses saw the supernatural and had to stop and turn aside toward it. Only when God saw that Moses turned aside to look did God speak to him. So often God reveals himself and we fail to turn and acknowledge him. Acknowledge his presence in your life and center your life around it. The same presence that showed up that day for Moses guided Israel into the Promise Land.
Have a wonderful day!
Josh

Specific Goals In 2012
The pastoral staff has asked you to be praying for some specific goals in 2012. God is at work at Parkside, we are halfway there for reaching our goal of baptizing 50 people and we have recruited more workers for the student ministry. We are seeing numbers increase in the Project 20:30 singles ministry and exciting things are in store for the men's ministry this year. Please continue to pray for these goals we have set for 2012. They are as follows: 1) Reach 50 people for the Lord, baptize them, and assist them in becoming devoted disciples. 2) Recruit more workers for student ministry. 3) The growth of the Project 20:30 ministry. 4) God's blessing on the men's ministry., and 5) Have Parksiders get excited about sharing their faith!
