*What Is It?
Over 8 million people have now attended an Alpha course, an opportunity to explore the meaning of life, running in tens of thousands of churches of all denominations across the world. Parkside is proud to be among them. Alpha is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed setting over ten thought-provoking weekly sessions (attending all is not required). It is low-key, friendly and fun.
*What's It Look Like?
Dinner: There will be a meal shared together at the beginning of each session, which gives people a chance to get to know each other.
Movie: We watch a thought provoking movie.
Talk: After each movie we divide into small groups to discuss the topic of the evening. It's all about asking questions and expressing opinions.
Coffee & conversation: Listen, learn, discuss & discover. And ask anything. Alpha is a place where no question is too simple or hostile.
