Men's Shooting Event At Sackets Harbor Range
All the Parkside men are invited to a shooting event on Saturday, May 19th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Sackets Harbor Range.  Meet at the church at 8:30 a.m.  The cost is approximately $20.00 per person.  Plan to bring your own firearms, but if you do not have your own, there will be some on hand for people to shoot.  If interested, please sign-up at the Information Center.

Great Commission Sunday, May 27th
May 27th is Great Commission Sunday!  Pastor Bruce will be taking a break from his normal teaching series and will be focusing on Parkside's involvement in world missions.  We are having a mystery guest on that Sunday, so you have to be there to discover who it is.  We will also be taking a special offering on that Sunday for Bosnia.  More details about that are forthcoming.

Baptism - Sunday, May 27th
We will be baptizing people in both serivces.  If interested in being baptized, sign-up at the Information Center in the Lobby.

Men's Ministry - Men's Breakfast at Denny's
Due to the Memorial Day holiday, there will be no men's breakfast this month at Denny's.  

Scholarship Fund
PBC has always held Christian education in very high regard.  For students that attend Christian Colleges we have the Scholarship Fund to help defray the high costs of tuition.  Students that apply must maintain a certain GPA, show evidence of growing as a disciple of Christ, and must be serving the Lord in some capacity.  Any students that would like to apply for a scholarship can pick up the application at the office or the Information Center and submit it.  The scholarship committee will interview each applicant and scholarships will be awarded accordingly.  If you would like to contribute to the scholarship fund, make your check payable to Parkside Bible Church and write Scholarship Fund in the memo.  Mike Mandich is the chairman of the scholarship committee and is available to answer any questions that you might have. 

Ladies Time Out Event
The next Ladies Time Out is scheduled for Friday, June 8th at 6 pm at Cavallario's Cuccina, located on Massey St. here in Watertown.  Childcare will be available at 5:30 p.m. at church.  Please sign-up at the Information Center by Sunday, June 3rd as the restaurant needs an accurate count beforehand.  This will be our last Ladies Time Out event until September, so come out and have some great food and fellowship!

Fill A Local Pantry
Food pantries in the area are constantly in need of food for people in our community.  Located in the hallway, you will see a bin in which you can bring in non-perishable food items for the "URBAN MISSION."  Each week these items will be taken over to the Urban Mission on Factory Street. 

Church Phone Directory
If you would like to be added to our Phone Directory or have a new address or phone number, please complete the form located at the Information Center and drop it in the box or you can call the church office and give us your information.  Pick up a new Phone Directory at the Information Center.

Prayer Before Service
Every Sunday at 9:00 you are invited to go into the prayer room off the sanctuary and pray for the morning service with other praying Parksiders.  Join the prayer group every Tuesday morning at 9:30.  Please take note of the bulletin board located in the Lobby.  If you have a prayer request, please fill out one of the cards and drop it in the blue folder.

Things You Need To Know

Emergency Prayer Requests:  If there is a prayer emergency call the church office at 782-6534 where you can speak with a pastor.  If it's an emergency outside office hours, we encourage you to call any of the pastors or your small group leader.

Sermon CD's:  After each service CD's are available at the Information Center free of charge.  If you missed a sermon or would like a copy of past messages, just fill out the Sermon Request Form, located at the Information Center.
