Hands and Feet

"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world." James 1:27

Hands & Feet is a community-focused service ministry where Christians from Parkside go to the homes of needy families and perform minor home repair, home improvement, cleaning, yardwork, etc. In addtion, we pray and seek to establish an ongoing relationship with the families we help. We do this to share the love of Jesus with Watertown, for He came "...not to be served but to serve others, and to give (His) life as a ransom for many." (Mathew 20:28)

Parkside members nominate projects to the Hands and Feet leadership, who through prayer and discernment seek the Lord's guidance in who to help. Nominees include believers, non-believers, neighbors, acquaintances, friends of friends, or even other Parkside members.

Our prayer is that this or a similar program will spread to other churches where Christians of all denominations will come together to meet the needs of the Watertown community on a regular basis.
