Perilous Times Are Praying Times!

These are perilous times in which we live! With the war in Afghanistan raging on, the war in Iraq winding down, and the threat of another terrorist attack hanging over our heads, there is a clear and present danger in our nation and around the world. Add to the above, a floundering economy boasting high unemployment, rising taxes, and a national debt that is off the charts, how do we cope with all this? One can feel a sense of despair and hopeless over the circumstances that exist!

For Christians the thing to do is mobilize to pray! Now, more than ever, the body of Christ needs to pray and exercise the weapons of our warfare! Here are some things that I would like to challenge you to be praying about:

1. Pray that our economy would recover.
2. Pray that political correctness would no longer govern the media, and that an accurate portrayal of our enemies would be presented.
3. Pray that God would smash the plans of those who plot harm and terror in our country.
4. Pray that Americans would not be apathetic about world events.
5. Pray that Jihadists threatening our freedoms would come to know Christ!
6. Pray that Americans would be involved in our political system and vote.
7. Pray that America would rediscover her Christian roots.
8. Pray that there would be a revival in our land!
