Pastor Bruce

PB

Pastor Bruce Guckelberg and his wife Carol began their ministry at Parkside Bible Church in July of 2002. Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Bruce came to know the Lord in 1981 and gave up his career as a Martial Arts instructor when he felt the call of God to go into full-time ministry. He has served in pastoral ministry in Milwaukee, Chicago, Sacramento and San Jose before coming to Watertown. Bruce earned his PhD in theology from Trinity Theological Seminary. He taught college level courses at California Christian College and has a passion for preaching God's Word. Bruce and Carol have come to Parkside Bible Church with a heart-felt desire to reach out to the community and impact the world through short-term mission projects.

Pastor Joshua

Pastor Joshua and his wife, Ellen, were born and raised along the Front Range in Colorado. They began their work in youth ministry in 1994, the same year they were married. In April 2003 the Daigneault family moved to Watertown and Joshua became the pastor of youth and worship, which are his areas of passion in ministry. He loves God, his family, and rock climbing. Joshua and Ellen believe that to reach a teenager today it's not enough to meet the spiritual need; the social need has to be met as well! If the church can't meet that need, then they'll go somewhere else to get it met. Joshua uses media tools as points of connection to help young people learn to apply the Word to their lives, and his focus is helping them find God's purpose for their life.
