If you are currently in college or establishing your career, Project 20:30 is the place for you!  Parkside is launching a new ministry for young, single people, which consists of connecting with other believers, having fun, and Biblical teaching.  Come and join us for our kickoff party on Thursday, February 9th at 7 pm here at the church, and feel free to invite a friend!

This year Christmas happens to fall on a Sunday.  Our Christmas Eve services traditionally have been very well attended, to the point where some years we've had standing room only!  In light of this, the church council has decided not to have any service Sunday morning, the 25th.  Our Christmas Eve servicve, on Saturday night, will take the place of our Sunday morning service this year.  As always, this is a service you will not want to miss!  Plan on coming out and inviting a friend to this year's Christmas Eve Candlelight service at 6:00 p.m.  Childcare will be available up through Age 3.

Pastor Bruce is doing a Sunday morning teaching series on discipleship. He is examining the methods that Jesus used in training his men and presenting a realistic picture of what a modern-day disciple of Christ looks like. Making disciples should be the focus of any church, because Jesus commanded us to go into all the world and make disciples of all nations (Mat 28:19). Fulfilling the Great Commission is dependent on the churches’ ability to practice discipleship as Jesus modeled it for us.

This year’s Christmas Eve service will be a joyful celebration of the Savior’s birth, which will feature Christmas Carols, a special drama, and will conclude with the lighting of the candles during congregational singing.

Be sure to come a few minutes early to get a seat because many years we have standing room only, and please, invite a friend. Since Christmas Eve falls on a Saturday, we will have one celebration service on Saturday night rather than having a service Sunday morning the 25th.
